Why Join Hansa

We are dedicated to improving the lives of people living with rare immunological diseases.

Hansa Biopharma is a fast-growing, R&D driven biopharmaceutical company, with an urge to develop innovative lifesaving and life altering therapies and add value to society at large. We leverage our immunomodulatory platform to develop treatments for enabling transplantations, rare immunoglobulin G (IgG)-mediated autoimmune conditions, gene therapy and cancer. The Company’s lead product candidate, imlifidase, has been granted conditional approval in the European Union for the desensitization treatment of highly sensitized adult kidney transplant patients with a positive crossmatch against an available deceased donor. Commercial launch in select European countries is ongoing. Hansa’s research and development program is also advancing the Company’s enzyme technology to develop the next generation of IgG-cleaving enzymes with potentially lower immunogenicity, suitable for repeat dosing in relapsing autoimmune diseases and oncology. Hansa Biopharma is based in Lund, Sweden, with operations in many European countries and in the U.S.

Hansa provides unique opportunities to work with skilled specialists in cross-functional teams. By empowering our people and working in an agile way we move our projects forward with high speed and scientific excellence. Hansa is growing rapidly. We attract new talent, broaden our network of partners and are establishing a presence in key markets around the world. There are many opportunities for highly qualified, dedicated and passionate people to join our exciting journey.

Compensation & Remuneration

At Hansa we highly value our people and their dedication to our vision and common goals, and we offer competitive compensation packages.

Benefits include company healthcare services, pension contribution and contribution to sports memberships and physiotherapy. Individual development plans are prepared and discussed to make sure that our people are provided with opportunities to grow their skills and reach their full potential.

Hansa Biopharma is “spreading the word” of living donor transplantations by taking part in the American Society of Transplantations initiative “Circle of Excellence”. The Living Donor Circle of Excellence is a corporate recognition program that will celebrate and promote companies that implement an internal policy to support the wages of a living donor employee. The purpose of the initiative is to help eliminate the costs of living donation for all donors. By normalizing living donation as a routinely covered health encounter, the circle aims to enable more persons to consider donating. All full-time permanent employees at Hansa Biopharma are eligible to receive leave to serve as a living organ donor.
